This is very hard on me to write. I had planned on doing this Tuesday but up until right now, which is 4:45am I just couldn't do it, as it hurts me so.
I want you to know that I speak to Pam and Bob quite a bit, and am very close to both of them as most of you know. A lot of information comes from Pam also.
It boils down to this, Our Rev Bob is a lot sicker than most realize. As close as I am to him, it floored me. I seen him on web cam and I cried, he has lost so much weight, I cant' beleive that are even doing surgery at this time. But I think seeing how his esophagusis is bothering him so bad, in not only eating but swallowing, they feel that now is the time.
He should be having surgery within a months time. He will be in the hosptial for about 2 weeks if all goes well. He well go in 4 days before surgery so to prepare for surgery. After surgery he will be in ICU for a least 3 to 4 days as it's very important that infection does not set in, also he well be very sick.
He can only be under anesthesia for 40 minutes, and if something goes wrong or they don't have the gland and tumor they will have to stop and pull out, as his lungs are not well. After surgery he will be on calcuim for the rest of his life.
He is strong in faith, and holding on to the cross. I know without doubt the Lord is carrying him at this time.
So I am asking each and everyone of you to please remember him in your prayers, and ask for prayers from family and in Church make requests, I myself am going to write to my missionary. Our Leader Will have prayers around the world. Our God is a Good God and ever so merciful. The song even states, It is no secret what God can do, what He's done for others He'll do for you. As far as God's only Son, well He will be busy with Rev Bob in Surgery for you see He is our Greatest
Physcian.
Tomorrow night is his night for the meeting. I know if he is even feeling a little better he will be there. So please try and show him your support. No one knows more than me how much you all love him, but for some reason, he doesn't know it, maybe it's just a man thing I don't know. I do know this, He loves each and every one on you, and works so diligently so we can have this group.

I promise to keep you all up to date, and if you wish you can always IM me. I only wished I could afford to go or I would be there for both Pam and Rev Bob. This is very hard on Pam as she has no family other than Bob. God Bless her.
